Since 1998 Richard Klimmert has his own garage company.
Passion for Datsun Fairlady
In 2014 a conversion took place on the front of the "Garagebedrijf Klimmert" to accommodate space for the Datsun Klimmert garage.
Datsun Klimmert is specialized in Datsun Fairlady roadster, for The Netherlands as well for the European market.
Richard his collection now consists of multiple roadsters. As a passionate mechanic with many years of experience in engine rebuild and tuning, his heart is in the mechanical parts.
Erica is involved in the company since 2016, she is an enthusiastic mechanic. But she also manage the parts, website and e-mail. Her passion started with a 300ZX Z31, meanwhile she ownes her own restored Fairlady with a new heart transplant, a SR20DE engine.
Since 2011, Richard has gone to the United States for the meeting in Solvang (California) where some 100 Datsun roadsters come together. After the meeting he takes a road trip with a roadster. During this holiday Richard maintains his contacts, whilst he also makes new ones. Due to these contacts which Richard has built up, he is well known in the United States, he knows his way around to find various parts.
